    Kings County is moving into a “Limited Phase 3” opening Friday, June 12.

    The California Department of Public Health has released the new Industry Guidance for restaurants, bars and wineries to go into effect on June 12th. This document provides guidance for restaurants, brewpubs, craft distilleries, breweries, bars, pubs, and wineries (referred to collectively as “restaurants, bars, and wineries”) to support a safe, clean environment for workers and customers.
    All guidance should be implemented only with county health officer approval following their review of local epidemiological data including cases per 100,000 population, rate of test positivity, and local preparedness to support a health care surge, vulnerable populations, contact tracing, and testing.

    The programs and initiatives in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act that was just passed by Congress are intended to assist business owners with whatever needs they have right now. When implemented, ther will be many new resources available for small business, as well as certain non-profits and other employers. We HIGHLY encourage our members to do their research and begin looking into this new legislation.
